To the editor:
It turns my stomach to hear liberal Democrats belly aching about poor President Biden having so many things happening in his administration that he has to deal with. It's so unfair to him to be criticized over things that just keep happening.
I have news for those who are making these complaints: Biden and his administration have caused all these problems.
(1) All the problems with illegal imigration, the deaths, the sexual assaults, the massive amaounts of drugs coming across the border, the property damage, the expense of taking care of and processing all the illegals, transporting them around the country etc. could have been prevented by continuing the policies of the Trump administration, such as the remain in Mexico policy and continuing to build the wall.
After the materials for the wall were already at the border Biden had to pay off the contract to stop the construction. Biden ran on undoing what Trump was doing.
(2) Inflation would not be as big of a problem if he would not have stopped Trump's policies on oil and natural gas production, which caused a shortage in the U.S. and prices went up. Under Trump we were a net exporter of oil, propane and natural gas.
(3) If it would not have been for the disaster of the way Biden pulled out of Afghanistan and left billions of dollars of military equipment there for the Talaban and made the Biden administration look so weak, Putin would not have been so bold as to invade Ukraine, causing all the problems of that situation. So much for his so-called Putin price hike for oil.
(4) He just got back from Saudi Arabia to try and get them to produce more oil. I have a question for someone -- anyone -- how does it help his green new deal to get the Saudis to produce more oil (or any other county for that matter) instead of producing here in the U.S.? I sure would like to hear the answer to that one. After all, a barrel of oil burned is a barrel of oil burned.
