To the editor:
I have a question for The Sentinel readers out there. How do you like the high gas prices out there and the fact that the cost of everything is going up? I know there are other things that cause inflation, but at this time, I am writing about fuel prices. The reason is because fuel prices are a major cause of high prices. It hits everyone who drives a car. It hits everyone who purchases food or anything that has to be shipped in any way from one place to another where it can be bought or used.
Our wonderful president and all the Green New Deal people are not upset by the cost of fuel. Biden made the statement that this is just something happening while we make the change from fossil fuel to green energy.
I have written letters before about how the so-called green energy is not so green. How the batteries that power electric vehicles cause pollution in their manufacturing and disposal when they are no longer usable. The same with solar panels and windmills and the drawbacks of their use. Check it out from The Sentinel files. I am speaking now only about the stupidity of forcing a switch until the technology to solve all of the problems of EVs is practical.
Just as a matter of national security, have the greenies figured out how to make electric powered supersonic fighter aircraft, or even an electric powered transport plane? Until you have the knowhow to do these things and have produced them in the quantities that you need to supply your military with all these wonderful inventions, you best not quit your day job or try to force the general public to make a switch. Even after you do figure out how to do all this, I have another question. Where do you get the electricity to power all this stuff? Remember, the sun doesn't always shine and the wind doesn't always blow.
