Recent events make me proud to be 'ultra MAGA'
To the editor:
I am writing this letter to address the hoopla about the leak at the U.S. Supreme Court and a few other things as well.
First, let me say I hope the leaker is found out and punished. I don't know who it is and do not care. They should be disbarred and never allowed to practice law ever again. If there are any other charges that they can be prosecuted for, then bring them to trial.
As for the protestors, I wish they would get their facts straight. Even if Roe v. Wade would be overturned, it would not be mean the end of abortion, though that would be fine with me if it did. It means that the issue would be settled at the individual state level. This is where it should have gone to begin with.
As for the protestors themselves, I heard a woman outside of Justice Amy Coney Barrett's residence saying that Justice Barrett didn't know what it is like for a woman to carry a baby to term because she adopted her children. The fact is she gave birth to five children and adopted two.
Now as far as protesting outside of the residence of a member of the court or a juror, it is illegal and federal charges should be brought on these grounds.
I also heard a woman saying that she was calling for a summer of rage and stating that the protestors would be unnegotiable. To me, this sounds like someone calling for protestors to break the law and to be violent and destructive, especially when someone who said that he knew that people would peacefully march to the Capitol and make their voices heard was considered by the left as inciting a riot. The double standard makes me sick.
Now, as to the siutation of the shortage of baby formula at stores, I have a question. Why are the shelves in the stores where American citizens shop empty while there are shelves full of formula at the southern border for illegals to be given the stuff for free? Why are those babies more important than the babies of American citizens? Explain that to me!
I have a great-granddaughter that will soon be born. Her parents are both citizens and have been since birth as well be my great-granddaughter. Will there be formula for her parents to buy or will it be given to the baby of someone who is here illegally?
I have never seen a situation like this in my lifetime in this nation until the Biden administration.
I miss the Trump administration! Life was so much better then. I guess I am just an "ultra MAGA" kind of guy and proud of it.
