Opinion on transgenders is rooted in facts
To the editor:
The call signs of liberals. Attack everyone with a racist or bigot accusation.
Mr. Fisher, those who find fault with the so-called transgender construct are not bigots nor are they racists. They are simply trying to make others aware of an absurdity in their midst.
When in college I took a course in sociology and at that time gender was referred to as brain perception of self. It had nothing to do with a person's genitalia. For one reason or another the two have become linked as if the same. They are not! There may well be 112 genders but darn sure there are not 112 sexes. Gender is brain and sex is genitalia. There is no such thing as gender surgery either unless of course you may have come across a brain surgeon that specializes in that procedure.
I doubt scientists ever came up with that number unless they took their info from Facebook and its exaggerated statistic. You know, I have to suppose that many of those claimed genders are simply delusions; often delusions attached to fetishism, mimicry, escapism, etc.
A fact you may have ignored is that transgender was advanced as an identity by a heterosexual male who, although married to a female, was himself a full-time transvestite. I looked up that fact, might you do the same?
He promoted and strongly advocated the social construct of transgenderism to include hetero transvestites and from my reading also referred to crossdressing homosexuals. He excluded those born intersex and even those identified as transsex. How transgender had become an overall umbrella term for so many variants is bewildering.
And it further confuses me how a heterosexual transvestite became part of the community of gay/lesbian/bisexual -- GLBt acronym. I see not a social reasoning here but simply a political one so as to increase a wobbly base of woke voters.
So much for the lesson in real facts. Let me get to the nitty gritty. Anyone who would condone the mixing of the sexes in sporting events is either one of the 112 gender variants or totally uninformed. But that is not surprising to me for their kind continually offer writings in support of every oddball lifestyle and behavior as if "normal."
The accusations you state are muddled with lack of facts. A man I suppose might feel himself confused mentally but what has that to do with his physical advantage over a women in athletic events? Simply put, his claim to be mentally a female does not wash. That is proven over and over by the acts of those claiming to be transgender yet commit crimes very often attributed to males, not females. That is not bigotry but facts.
One of those episodes was recently exposed at a women's prison, where a man who had claimed to be transgender was transferred to a women's prison and while there impregnated two female prisoners. It made me wonder which one of those 112 gender apparitions he was suffering compelled him to initiate an act usually attributable to a functional man? And if you would take the time to do a simple search as I did, you would find many examples of faux gender claimants abusing young girls, women and even boys.
I am not a bigot but will admit to having an opinion and that, sir, is my right of free speech and has not a wit to do with bigotry or racism.
