To the editor:
Pa. State Representative John Hershey's office helped me through every step of a difficult process to obtain my rent rebate.
The first year, I couldn't file because of a former 401(k) that I don't have any more.
I was getting letters from the IRS and I was scared and didn't know what to do.
His staff walked me through each step. I was not aware there was this type of service locally.
With the change in the district map, we will sorely miss John Hershey's office in Mifflin County, but I know he and his staff will serve the people well in Perry and Juniata counties.
