Let's do away with biannual clock changes
To the editor:
It seems to me that eliminating Daylight Saving Time and making Standard Time the policy is appropriate.
Nothing is really gained by extending daylight a single hour. On the other hand, it negatively extends the morning darkness an hour.
I think we are better served by eliminating Daylight Saving Time entirely once this period ends on Nov. 6. The time then would no longer require any clock changes but become standard time all year long.
