Liberal progressives do not live in reality
To the editor:
George Fisher, climate change is real, however, the world will not end in 10 years as your shepards tell you. Fear is the progressive's sledgehammer. The sky is not falling. Your tirade was frivolous with little merit. Everything in life is about change.
Our current government has gone from paying people more to stay home than go to work! Now some of them don't want to work! Local companies are looking, advertising and begging for help right now! Please, Mr. Fisher, help those poor people out and drag them to find a job. Don't forget to tell them the free lunch is over and it is time to pay for inflation and all that time on the couch.
If that CEO making millions, especially if he built the business himself and he suddenly decides to close it down. He moves to Tahiti on a beach with his millions. His reason is because his workers were complainers. They did not appreciate his effort to keep them employed. They felt they deserve just as much him.
He said, I took the risk to start the business, I took out the loans, I paid for the license, government permits and fought government regulators to keep the employees in work? Now they want what I worked for. B.S.!
Where would your poor workers go, Mr. Fisher? What would they do if he doesn't sign the payroll? What if the bank won't give him the money to get through the offseason? Who guides and directs the business? If you don't like the pay at your job, find a better one!
How about you and your "ilk" start a collective business. See how much each comrade will make. You will make the same as everyone else! You will become just another brick in the wall. At the very least I want the opportunity to better myself.
Ask the people of the Ukraine how work went last week. There was none! Don't think for a minute liberal progressives aren't salivating at the power Putin has. It could easily happen here. Fear and big government are the main ingredients, just add sheep! Thank Heaven the Ukrainians are fighting back for what you are advocating to give up! They are not sheep.
In Moscow this week police began to stop people on the street, checking their phones for photos and text with anti-government comments. They are arresting people for new made up violations. Sounds like our liberal college campuses. No arrests here, yet! But censorship of college speakers is widespread. That is the progressive mind set.
You live in a dream world, Mr. Fisher. A magical fantasy world where you want everything and everyone to be happy and perfect. The real world is far from perfect. Try to focus on obtaining realistic goals and leave your fantasies on your pillow. The moon is not made of green cheese and the "green new deal" is just as idiotic.
Mr. Fisher, try to concentrate on what happens when we lose free speech and the ability to better ourselves. If you're honest with yourself, you will find you're more Republican than you ever knew!
