Susan Sarandon is full of disgusting hypocrisy
To the editor:
So, Susan Sarandon looked at pictures of the support a slain police officer had at his funeral. Where thousands of fellow officers from around the country came in their free time to honor a fallen comrade and said she will show these pictures to her children to show them what fascism looks like.
Her kids are older than the slain officer who died in the line of duty during a domestic disturbance call. I hope they can figure out the world without her queen-like omnipotence.
Officer Jason Rivera was the son of an immigrant and joined the force to help change the way police interacted with minorities, as he was one who was directly affected by the policies of the past. Jason wrote: "Sometimes I sit in my room alone and think to myself that life is not easy. Sometimes you're thrown a ball and you have to learn how to dodge that ball. You either stay hurt from the ball thrown at you or work hard and heal again. That is my mentality," Rivera wrote. "I'm very blessed to be the person I am today. You see, I have two legs to walk, two eyes to see and two hands to touch. I have an education in which I don't have to take a dime out of my pockets. I work. My parents work. My brother is finishing college. Why wouldn't I work hard when I have everything, I need to be successful?"
That is the character of the 22-year-old fallen hero.
Susan has had a successful career in the past. Her net worth is over $50 million. Usually if you do that well under a fascist regime you get a collaborator title. She has not done too much work recently; I mean besides tweeting her opinion on matters in the way rich people feel they need to "richsplain" to us common folk.
Thank God for freedom of speech, cause nowhere else in the world could a liberal filthy rich old white woman call the death of a young promising Latino fascism and hope to get away with it. Her personal rancor and hatred toward an institution has made her vilify one who was actively working in the system for change. She has the right to say all that, I have the right to call out her hypocrisy.
Furthermore, she has to retweet her filth with "So, if all these cops weren't needed for CRIME that day, doesn't that mean they aren't needed ANY day," a headline in Sarandon's post over the retweeted photo reads. I guess she doesn't realize that to honor a fallen comrade those in the picture came by the thousands from around the country on their own time, are not on the clock, they are not on a multi-million-dollar movie contract. Her dress at her last event most likely cost more than most of the attendees make in a year.
She looks at a photo of people in mourning a fallen fellow officer, a husband, a son, and sees fascism. I look at her tweets and retweets from her multi-million-dollar abode and see nothing but hypocrisy.
I shared words from both the high and self-righteous, and the fallen heroes' own thoughts. Now I leave with the liberal leaning New York Times's take:
