Janette K. Gentry, 67, of Mifflintown, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at Brookline Manor after a brief illness. Born Sept. 21, 1958, in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late James Oliver and Mary (Fite) Gentry. She is survived by her life partner, Sandra J. Miller, two brothers, David Gentry and wife, Adrian, of Ollie, Iowa, and Thomas Gentry and wife, Ruth, of Quarryville, one sister, Joyce Vinelli of Lititz and several nieces and nephews. Constance L. Yocum, 74, of Port Royal passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown. Born on Dec. 2, 1951, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer G. Yocum and Hazel L. (Miller) Yocum. She is survived by her sister, Janice Yocum and various cousins. Constance was a graduate of Shippensburg University where she obtained her master’s degree in education. She was a teacher for more than 30 years with the Juniata County School District.
