Shirley J. Price, 73, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026.
Born May 16, 1953, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Mann) Cruse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Gary Cruse, Lillian Campbell, Rodney Cruse.
She is survived by her sons, Todd E. Price and Andrew S. Price, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Evelyn, Brody, Allysea, and Aiden Price; siblings, Thomas Cruse, of Johnstown, Tammi Geedy, of Maryland.
A high school graduate, Shirley went on to earn her nursing degree from the Virginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She dedicated many years to caring for others through her work as a nurse. Early in her career, she was employed at Lewistown Hospital, and later continued her service at Ohesson Manor, where she was known for her compassion and commitment to those in her care.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
