Richard C. Lepley

Richard C. Lepley, 87, of Yeagertown, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on July 30, 1939, in Barrville, he was the son of the late Horace “Shorty” Lepley and Elsie (Goddard) Reese. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Lepley; his daughter, Vicki Lepley; and his sisters, Jayne Wagner and Pat Stroup.

Rich is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Foulk) Lepley, of Yeagertown; his children, Don âLepã Lepley and his wife, Chris, of Lewistown, Sherry Forshey and her husband, Rodney, of Mount Union, Mary Lepley, of Port Royal, Kevin âBuzzã Lepley and his wife, Sherrie, of Lewistown, and his step-children, Lora Beamenderfer, of Yeagertown, and Johnny Dippery and his wife, Gwen, of Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ron Lepley and his wife, Shirley, of Lewistown.

Rich dedicated more than 30 years of his working life to Standard Steel. He was a member of Lewistown Alliance Church, where his faith was an important part of his life. In his younger years, he especially enjoyed spending time with his wife boating and making memories at Raystown Lake. A devoted sports fan, Rich remained a loyal supporter of Penn State football and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, at Lewistown Alliance Church, 50 Hudson Avenue, Lewistown, with Pastor John Looney officiating. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
