Nancy L. Misal, 68, of Port Royal, formerly of Millersville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, at The Embassy at Hearthside, State College.
Born April 25, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Stewart) Jarvis.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William T. Misal Jr., whom she married April 8, 1978. Also surviving are three children, Katrina Jarvis, William E. Misal, and Stacy Misal and companion, Chris Stake, eight grandchildren, Allison, Alexa, Kodi, Daulton, Melanie, Georgia, Rilee, and Tori, and one brother, Edward Jarvis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cheryn Jarvis and Joanne Jarvis.
Nancy worked as a manager at K-mart, McDonald's and other fast food restaurants and also worked at several daycares.
She enjoyed bowling, camping in Virginia, and going to the Port Royal races. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and two cats.
There will be a viewing at Lighthouse Community Church, 1578 Cedar Springs Road, Mifflintown, at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Jeffrey Henry officiating. A meal will follow the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
