Miguel A. Marquez, 73, of Arlington, Va., passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Sept. 29, 1953, in San Alejo, El Salvador, he was the son of the late Enecon Torres and Juana Marquez.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Antonia Montesinos De Marquez, whom he shared 49 years of marriage; children, Jose Santos Marquez, Dora Marquez and husband, Carlos Maldonado, Blanca Marquez, Veronica Marquez and wife, Teresa Marquez, Miguel Marquez and wife, Rosalba Colindres; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; siblings, Lidia Marquez and Rosa Marquez.
He attended La Divina Misericordia and was employed by Whole Foods. Miguel enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially visiting parks and sharing life's simple pleasures with those he loved.
Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m.
