Mary E. Bohn, 77, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at her home.
Born Sept. 21, 1949, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Betty E. (Crist) Bostdorf.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Bohn.
Mary is survived by her son, Timothy Spangler and wife, Kelly, of San Diego, CA; sister, Patricia Krzykowski and husband, Thomas, of Halifax; niece, Emily Adams and her husband, Chris; nephews, Derek Ruhl and wife, Marci, of Carlisle, Thomas Krzykowski, of Dauphin; a great-niece, Kylie Ruhl; and great-nephews, Gabriel Ruhl and Samuel Adams.
Mary was a proud 1967 graduate of Susquenita High School. She spent forty dedicated years working as a confidential secretary for the Mifflin County School District, serving from 1971 until her retirement in 2011.
At home, Mary found joy in caring for her houseplants and keeping a warm, welcoming space. She cherished visits with her close friends and family, and she treasured the simple, meaningful routines that filled her days.
Services are private and held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place at Mount Rock Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn.
