Marjorie J. Clark

Marjorie J. Clark, 94, of Lewistown, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at her home.

Born Jan. 30, 1932, in Middleburg, she was the daughter of the late Ruth A. (Hare) Yarger.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Clark, with whom she shared 57 years of a devoted and joy filled marriage. Together they built a wonderful life anchored in love, steadiness and family.

She is survived by her children, Tina J. Clark, of Beavertown, Timothy J. Clark, of Lewistown; grandson, Ian Clark.

Marjorie was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lewistown. A graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1949, she went on to work as a medical secretary for Dr. Rice, Dr. Marthouse, and Dr. Korinchak all physicians who, over the years, became close friends of her family.

She was unbelievably resilient; the steady center of her family, and the one who made sure everyone else was “okay.” Her children and grandchildren always came first. Her grandson became the apple of her eye, her boy, her joy, the one she doted on, spoiled, and thought about right up to her final days.

Throughout her life, she found joy in many hobbies: making Christmas ornaments, knitting, gardening, and countless other creative pursuits. She was the family rock, strong, thoughtful, and endlessly giving. Her absence will be felt in every corner of the lives she shaped.

At her request, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

Memorial contributions in Marjorie's honor may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 101 Logan St., Lewistown.
