Dennis and his family owned and operated Nace Fruit Farm along Route 35 for many years. He cherished memories of the hard work and good times growing peaches, apples, and pears for his neighbors. He continued to prune the peach tree in the backyard every year with great precision.
He spent many years working for Handwerk, operating pans and other heavy equipment. He traveled with his grandson, Jason, to job sites across Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region for many years.
In retirement, Dennis enjoyed breakfast with his friends at local restaurants, mowing the yard, and watching football. He especially looked forward to grocery shopping and having breakfast with Jason every Sunday morning over the past few years.
One of his greatest pleasures later in life was sharing popsicles with Lilly and visits with Morgan and Brooke.
Dennis was a member of Union Lodge No. 324 F&AM and Harrisburg Consistory.
