Brian K. Bryner

Brian K. Bryner, 62, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at his home.

Born on April 2, 1964, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Larry and Janet (Strausburg) DeArment. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Teresa Strausburg and Latrenda Sward.

He is survived by his wife, Debra K. (Schell) Bryner, who he married in June 1998; children, Shawn Bryner and companion, Kayln Daly, of Burnham, Kanesha Bryner, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Lilly Bryner, Chloe Stoner, Frank Parker, Angela Parker; siblings, Lori Kline and companion, Gary Lynn, of North Cumberland, Clint DeArment, of Lewistown, Leah Small and husband, Danny, of W.V., Lisa DeArment, of Lewistown; many loving nieces and nephews.

Brian worked in maintenance at JMP Cemetery and Housing Authority for 20 years, where he was known for his steady dedication and willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed. He loved his family deeply, cherished the companionship of his parakeet, Bud, and especially treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Penn State fan, cheering on the Nittany Lions with enthusiasm throughout the years.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct.11, 2026, at The Upper Room, 4567 E. Main St., Belleville, with Pastor Jenny Hagemyer officiating.

A meal will be offered at 1 p.m., prior to the service. Guests are kindly asked to r.s.v.p. for the meal on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, 717-437-3083.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brian's memory to: Upper Room Church.
