Sandra Lee Miller, 86, of Reedsville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at Locust Grove Retirement Village in Mifflin.
Born Feb. 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Elwood "Pete" and Josephine (Piper) Himes.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Denisa Messerle; and her granddaughter, Vanessa Miller.
She is survived by her two sons, Ronald S. Miller and wife, Michele, of Lemoyne, and Craig E. Miller and wife, Danelle, of Tallahassee, Fla.; her grandchildren, Kelli Reynolds, Anisa Miller, Craig Miller, and Breanna Miller; her great-grandson, Jayden Reynolds; her sister, Denna Armstrong and husband, Dennis, of Reedsville; and her very dear friend, Ginny Trucco.
Sandy retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission after many years of service.
Those who knew Sandy will remember her for her warm and friendly nature and the genuine care she showed to those around her. She had a fun-loving spirit, a kind heart, and a way of making others feel welcomed and cared for. Her presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
In accordance with Sandy's wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville.
