RuthAnn Cramer Hart, 80, of Milford Township, Mifflintown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born Aug. 2, 1946, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Esther M. (Kauffman) Cramer.
On Nov. 29, 1969, she married her beloved husband, Thomas H. Hart, who survives. Together they shared more than 56 years of marriage.
RuthAnn was a 1964 graduate of Juniata Joint High School and attended Empire Beauty School. She devoted her life to her home and family as a homemaker. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved cooking and baking, her kitchen was a gathering place for family and friends, and she enjoyed nothing more than making someone feel welcomed by providing something to eat and drink. She also enjoyed crafting, and her handiwork will be treasured by those who received it.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by three children: Jeffrey S. Hart and his wife, Amy (Lauver) Hart; Jennifer A. (Hart) Tyson and her husband, John T. Tyson; and Jon R. Hart and his wife, Elizabeth A. Hart; nine grandchildren: Lauren Hart, Julie Hart Wolfe and husband Nathan, J. William Tyson, Zachary Hart and wife Nina, Kathryn Hart, Benjamin Tyson, Nathaniel Tyson, Seth Hart, and Sarah Hart; two brothers, William D. Cramer and late wife Florence "Jean" Cramer, and Charles L. Cramer and his wife, Deb; and a sister, Patti M. (Cramer) Clark and her husband, Roy.
A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Licking Creek Valley followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Paul Kampa and Rev. Richard Adams, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
