Louise Moffet French, 90 of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, under the loving Hospice care at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, Pa.
She was the second wife of Raymond E. French. She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Moffet, M.D., in 1978, and her daughter, Jill North in 2016. She is survived by two sons and three stepdaughters: Eric Moffett M.D. and wife, Diana of Kingsport, Tenn.; Brian Moffet, of Chesapeake, Va.; Loralie French, of Rochester, Pa.; Becca Rhodes, of Coplay, Pa.; Cindy Fields, of Ephrata, Pa. She also is survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and another great-grandchild expected in March 2027.
Louise spent her career as a dedicated nurse, caring for patients with compassion and grace.
A celebration of life service will be planned at Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Rd, Ephrata, PA 17522, at a later date.
