Joyce L. Corbin, 89, of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at William Penn Nursing Center.
Born on May 16, 1937, in Reedsville, she was the daughter of the late Roland E. and Beulah (Finkle) Wagner, but was raised by her eldest sister, Dorothy Wagner. On Dec. 20, 1958, she married Donald C. Corbin, who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2022.
Surviving is a daughter: Michelle L. Logan and husband, Donald, of Lewistown; a granddaughter: Adeline Logan, of Lewistown; her "sister", Phyllis Glick, of Lewistown.
She was the last of her immediate family, as she was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Joyce graduated in 1955 and had worked various jobs throughout her life including secretarial work and she was manager of the Hello Shop in downtown Lewistown, but her greatest joy was becoming a mother.
She enjoyed knitting and earlier in life and had made ceramics. She was always there for anyone who needed help with time and recourses, especially her family and friends.
Joyce was a member of the Vira United Methodist Church, where she assisted with Bible school and other activities at the church.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Mike Bailey officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Belleville.
