Joseph J. "Joe" Beitz, 82, of Mifflintown, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at his home.
Born Oct. 6, 1943 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph and Jennie (Gattenella) Beitz.
He is survived by his second wife, Tina M. Schultz, whom he married Feb. 28, 2020, two children, Aimee Jo Wagner and Russell W. "Rusty" Beitz, and wife, Donna, seven grandchildren, Seth, Courtney, Zachary, Derek, Isaiah, Elijah, and Giada, six great-grandchildren, and one brother, Mathias F. Beitz and wife, Nancy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Shirley Anne (Knapp) Beitz on March 22, 2016, and one son, Joshua Beitz on June 26, 2014.
Joe owned and operated JB Enterprises until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
Following his wishes, there will be no service.
