John R. Wells, 61, of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
Born May 23, 1965, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Kermit Wells and Sharon (Stine) Haffly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Evelyn Wells.
John is survived by his siblings, Lori Wells-Green and her husband, Theodore, of Md; Clifford Wells and his wife, Michele, of Milroy; and K. Daniel Wells and his wife, Ruth, of Newport.
John retired from Joe Krentzman & Son Inc. in Lewistown. He enjoyed model cars, listening to Elvis, watching John Wayne movies, and reading the works of Stephen King and Clive Cussler.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
