John R. Wells, 61, of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
Born May 23, 1965, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Kermit Wells and Sharon (Stine) Haffly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Evelyn Wells.
John is survived by his siblings, Lori Wells-Green and her husband, Theodore, of Maryland; Clifford Wells and his wife, Michele, of Milroy; and K. Daniel Wells and his wife, Ruth, of Newport.
Also surviving are Phillip Wells, and his wife Laurie Wells; David Wells, and his wife April Wells; Thomas Wells and his wife, Mary Wells.
John retired from Joe Krentzman & Son Inc. in Lewistown. He enjoyed model cars, listening to Elvis, watching John Wayne movies, and reading the works of Stephen King and Clive Cussler.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 11 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1020 W. Fifth St., Lewistown.
