John "Juan" Rivera, 88, of Manheim, passed away peacefully on Sept. 16, 2026. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan Cruz Soto and Brigida Rivera Adorno.
John worked as a grinder for Sperry New Holland and worked various jobs at Homestead Village until his retirement. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
John is survived by five children: Juan Rivera (Bette), Vidal Rivera (Rhonda), Lorey Ciccolini (Robert), Michael Rivera (Patricia), and Melissa Ruiz (David); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 12 siblings.
The family will receive guests for a viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. There will be no service.
