Jacque E. Erb

Jacque E. Erb, 90, formerly of McAlisterville, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026 at Richfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on May 6, 1936 in Beaver Springs, Snyder County, he is a son of the late Guy Robert and Mary Ethel (Lenhart) Erb.

On June 11, 1960, he married his late wife, Dolores C. (Corson) Erb, with whom he was blessed to share over 62 years of marriage before her passing on June 19, 2022.

He is survived by: his children, David L. Erb, Keith A. Erb, and Linda J. Carson, all of McAlisterville; a sister, Pamela Baker and her husband, Tom, of Lewistown; a brother, Michael Erb, of Florida; niece, Heather Weader and her husband, Jim, of McAlisterville; two nephews, Chuck Stul,l of Washington State and Josh Erb, of Philadelphia; and his companion, Patricia Yeater, of Richfield.

He was a 1954 graduate of Chief Logan High School and a 1962 graduate of Lock Haven University.

Mr. Erb honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1954-1958.

Jacque had served as a teacher in Math and Driver's Education for a majority of his teaching career at East Juniata High School, Cocolamus.

His memberships included the McAlisterville United Methodist Church and enjoyed football, especially the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Ray Bailor officiating. Interment will follow at Goodwill Cemetery in Bunkertown where full military burial honors will be accorded by the Juniata County Veterans Council.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Erb's memory can be made to the McAlisterville United Methodist Church, 4633 Cuba Mills Road, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
