Gary L. Spickler, 77, of Milroy, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born on Sept. 20, 1948, in McVeytown, to the late William and Mildred (Forshey) Spickler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: David Spickler and Larry Spickler.
Surviving is his significant other, Joan McMullen; children: Jake Rhoades, of Milroy, Dan Rhoades, of Milroy, David "Cricket" Rhoades and wife, Allison, of Reedsville, Esther Purdy, of Huntingdon; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Spickler and wife, Sandy, of Burnham; as well as two nieces: Tina Brownsberger and Christy Nailor.
He was an over-the-road tractor-trailer driver, drove dump truck, and retired from Brown Township Sewer Plant in March 2024.
He enjoys listening to country music, dancing and hunting.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
