Edward S. Goss, 76, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at his home.
Born Jan. 6, 1950, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Edward S. Goss Sr. and Elizabeth M. (Brubaker) Bishop.
He is survived by his wife, Lucinda K. 'Cindy' (Fultz) Goss, whom he shared over 50 years of marriage; daughter, Melissa Goss and companion, Kenneth Woomer, of Milroy; siblings, Lester Goss and wife, Diane, of Belleville, Connie Hartsock, of Lewistown.
Earlier in life, Edward worked for Goss Fertilizer Service in Lewistown. He later became a lead man at the Overhead Door Company, where he eventually retired. He enjoyed farming in his younger years and spending time outdoors, especially hunting. Edward had a deep appreciation for classic and antique cars, often attending car shows and browsing for antiques. One of his favorite pastimes was traveling to Benezette, Pennsylvania, to see the wild elk.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Lind Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Bradley Zembower officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edward's memory to UPMC Hospice or Rescue Our Furry Friends (ROFF).
