Daniel Norman McCardle, 25, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 27, 2026.
Born April 21, 2001, he was the son of Brad A. McCardle and Katherine Bickel.
Daniel is survived by his paternal grandparents, Russell L. McCardle, of Belleville, and Dottie L. Thompson, of Milroy; step-grandfather, Robert K. 'Bummy' Bumgardner, of Burnham; maternal grandmother, Helen Annebelle 'Ann' Bickel; a brother, Philip Jasper and wife, Tasha and their daughter Sophia; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, who loved him and will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Daniel Wilbur Bickel.
Daniel was last employed at the Bel-Vue Inn, where he worked alongside his mom. He enjoyed all the things young country boys do; hunting, fishing, campfires, loud trucks, loud music, his puppy Ringo, and sharing a beer with his buddies. He was always happy to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He loved mowing grass for the neighbors and fixing things for friends and family.
Daniel will forever be his dads best friend, his moms baby boy, the joy of all of his grandparents, the sweetest little brother, the most adored nephew, the coolest uncle, and everyone's favorite cousin to show up at family events.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
