Cindy L. Wagner of Milroy, entered her final rest on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Celebration Villa in Reedsville following an extended illness.
Born July 6, 1957, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Jerry L. Wagner Sr. and Dolores Ann (Warner) Wagner.
She is survived by a sister, Theresa E. Cooksey and husband, David, of York, and brother Jerry L Wagner Jr. and wife, Judith Fitzgerald, of Reedsville. Cindy is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Alex (and Cait) Cooksey, Matt (and Jaclyn) Cooksey, Lauren (and Eric) Cooksey Lopez, Jack (and Jordehn) Wagner, Grace Wagner, Aaron Wagner, Davis (and Kaitlyn) Wagner, and Gunnar Wagner; great-nieces and nephews Vera, Owen, Margot and Sullivan Cooksey, and Kade Wagner.
Cindy was a 1975 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School before earning degrees from Penn State in Agricultural Business Management and Secondary Education, graduating with Highest Distinction as a Phi Kappa Phi scholar. She was an accomplished musician (vocal, piano, clarinet), a volunteer organist for various churches throughout the community, and a talented fiber artist. She was also a lifelong member and volunteer at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
A private service will take place at the convenience of the family where she will be laid to rest at Juniata Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
