Born Oct. 28, 1946, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice (McMaster) Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Frances Runkle, Richard Campbell, James Campbell, Jr., and her twin brother, Darrell Campbell.

Carol was a proud graduate of Chief Logan High School. Throughout her working years, she was employed as a supervisor at Scotty's Fashions and, more recently, was employed at Trinity Plastics, where her co-workers referred to her as âGrandmaã. She attended Spring Run Church of the Brethren in McVeytown.

Carol's greatest joy was her family, and she cherished the time she spent with those she loved. She is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Dressler and her husband, Jarred, of Port Royal; her grandchildren, Tre Jackson and his wife, Faviola, of N.C., Navi Jackson, of Port Royal, and Malena and Jyi Dressler, of Port Royal; her sister, Alice Elder and her husband, Butch, of Lewistown; her sister-in-law, Anna Campbell; and her best friend of 62 years, Brenda Swisher.

She had a tender heart for animals, especially her beloved cats and her faithful dog, Bailey, who brought her much companionship and happiness. Earlier in life, Carol enjoyed hiking, and taking day trips. Above all, she was immensely proud of her grandchildren and treasured the memories made with them. Her love for her family, her fondness for animals, and the many simple joys she found throughout her life will remain cherished memories for all who knew and loved her.
