Paul H. Romig Sr.

Paul H. Romig Sr., 89, of McClure, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at Greenwood Village.

Born April 11, 1937, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Jacob H and Jenny (Baker) Romig.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia Yvonne (Gasper) Romig; his daughter, Toni Marie Millisock, and her husband, Calvin, along with several siblings, Shirley and Bill as infants, Edna Richards, Irene Goss, Beatrice Romig, Charles Romig, George Romig, and Fae McKnight.

He is survived by his son, Paul H. Romig Jr., of McClure; grandchildren, Yvonnie Wagner; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Joseph Millisock; great-grandchildren, Alexia Bixler, Nathaniel Wagner, Elizabeth Wagner, Jessica Bixler, Brooke Millisock, Kayla Millisock, and Alexis Millisock.

Paul spent his working years at the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company in Lewistown. Outside of work, Paul found joy in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved the quiet of early mornings, the rhythm of nature, and the satisfaction of time spent outside. When he wasn't outdoors, he was cheering on his teams, a loyal Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan through every high and low.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 1st Ave., Burnham.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 1st Ave., Burnham, with Pastor Valerie Delooze officiating.

Interment will take place at Bakers EUB Cemetery, in McClure.
