Lawrence E. Fronk, 92, of McAlisterville, went from this world into the presence of his Lord and Creator on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at the Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Mifflintown.
Born on April 30, 1934, in Richfield, Juniata County, he is a son of the late Herman D. and Martha L. (Hood) Fronk, and six late siblings: Delmar, Reba (Frymoyer), Dale, William, Roy and Gloria (Shellenberger). Lawrence was also preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy (Haupt) Fronk, and his second wife, Marjorie (Singer) Fronk.
He is survived by one daughter, Tracey L. Wilson and her husband, Brian, of Mechanicsburg; one son, Kenneth W. Fronk and his wife, Bonnie, of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; three stepchildren; two step grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
Lawrence was a 1952 graduate of Fayette High School in McAlisterville and was employed and retired after 24 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service in Allentown and Harrisburg.
Mr. Fronk honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy for 10 years, where he obtained the rank E-5, went to Radar School, and was an Air Controlman and Approach Control. He was a member and had attended the Bunkertown Brethren Church and proudly participated and served for many years with the Mifflin, Juniata, and Perry County Child Evangelism Fellowship, Prison Ministry, and many other capacities.
Per Mr. Fronk's wishes, he graciously donated his body for advancement of medicine and science, but there will be Memorial Services held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, at the Bunkertown Brethren Church, 52 Bunkertown Road, McAlisterville with Pastor Wes Stahl and Pastor Steve Osenga officiating. Interment will be private at Goodwill Cemetery, McAlisterville.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Fronk's memory can be made to the Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O. Box 348 Warrenton, MO 63383.
