John Richard Randolph, 83, of Huntingdon, passed away peacefully surrounded by much love and family on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at his residence.
Born March 16, 1943 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late John Robert Randolph and Francena “Teenie” (Gorman) Randolph.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony G. Randolph, a niece and a nephew.
John is survived by his beloved children: Deena Randolph Ryan and husband, Marc, Richard D.G. Randolph and fiancée, Tracy Fogleman, all of Milroy, and Josh Randolph, of Lewistown. Also surviving are grandchildren: Marc Ryan II, Megan Ryan-Crawley and husband, Jason, Amanda Randolph Hall and husband, Ryan, John David Randolph, and Annabel Randolph; great-grandchildren: Sturges, Francena, and Florence Ryan-Crawley, Theodora Hall; a brother, Glen T. Randolph and wife, Carol of Ariz.; and he is also survived by numerous nephews.
He graduation in 1961 from Kishacoquillas High School. In his early years, he was employed at KA-VEE Dairy and New Holland. He attended PA Game Commission training and owned and operated Randolph Tree & Shrubbery Service in Belleville for over 40 years.
John lived, loved, and breathed hunting, he was an avid bird watcher, loved to explore Gettysburg and was always very active and willing to help others. He was a great landscaper and wood worker. He loved the outdoors. John took the coveted Triple Trophy Award, given by the PA Game Commission, for spring gobbler, deer, and bear in 1968.
He loved spending time with his daughter, sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 6880 SR 655, Reedsville. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Dan Morris officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
