Gary L. Brehman. 84, of Milroy, passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on Dec. 14, 1941 in Lewistown, he is a son of the late Donald and Lois (Berkey) Brehman.
He is survived by his children, Tina Aumiller and husband, James, of Milroy, Jill Esh and husband, Tom, of Granville, O.H., Christopher Brehman, of Portland, OR, and Elizabeth Flynn, of East Berlin; grandchildren, Bo Aumiller and wife, Chloe, Maisie Hershberger and husband, Kenneth, Derek Esh and wife, Brenna, Kevin Esh and wife, Katie, Abagail Brehman and husband, Dale, Michael Flanagan, Hannah Flynn and fiancÈ, Nick Fasick, and Hunter Flynn; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Cindy Ferencz and husband, Tom, of Burnham, Barry Brehman and wife, Cindy, of Lewistown, Marty Brehman and wife, Kathy, of Lewistown, Donna Grove and husband, Mike, of Pinedale, WY, and Joe Noto and wife, Connie, of Baltimore, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son in law, Jerry Flynn and one brother, Donald "Skip" Stidfole.
Gary was a 1959 graduate of Lewistown High School and honorably served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was employed for over 35 combined years of service, first at Viscoe Avtex in Lewistown and then retired from Dumor, Inc. in Mifflintown.
Mr. Brehman was an active member and attended the Milroy White Memorial Church where he assisted his daughter with charitable giving through the church and enjoyed attending the Men's Breakfast Club.
His hobbies included woodworking, going to auctions, attending his graduating class's luncheons, was an animal lover, and, in earlier life, enjoyed fishing.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 at the Milroy White Memorial Church, 68 S. Main Street, Milroy, with Dr. James Barnes officiating. Interment will be private.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial services at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Brehman's memory can be made to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Hwy., Centre Hall, PA 16828 or to his church, Milroy White Memorial Church, 68 S. Main Street, Milroy, PA 17063.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville.
