T.A. "Dude" Harner, 92, of Lewistown, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born on Feb. 22, 1934, in Coleman, Okla., he was the son of the late Tollie and Irene (Lattie) Harner. He was one of 15 children, he had eight brothers and six sisters.
Dude is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta (Keifer) Harner; his children, Pamela Cunningham and her husband, Patrick, of Arkansas, Gregory Harner and his wife, Alisa, of Texas, Lisa Swisher of Lewistown, and Brad Swisher and his wife, Michele, of Birdsboro; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A proud veteran, Dude honorably served in the United States Air Force. He later worked for many years as a crane operator with Texas Electric.
Service details will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville.
