Samuel P. Rocco Jr.

Samuel P. Rocco Jr., 75, of Lewistown, passed away on July 8, 2026.

Born on March 10, 1951, Sam was the son of the late Samuel P. Rocco Sr. and Joyce (Armstrong) Rocco. He was also preceded in death by his beloved sister, Karen Marie Rocco.

Sam is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Rocco) Terry and her husband, Marc, of Lewistown; his grandsons, Ethan Terry and his wife, Elizabeth, of Conway, S.C., and Ryan Terry, of Erie, Pa.; his great-grandson, Miles Terry; his brothers, Jeffrey Rocco, of Lewistown, Ronald Rocco, of Lewistown, Joseph Rocco and his wife, Kelli, of Lewistown, and Christopher Rocco and his wife, Gabriela, of Franklin, Tenn.; several loving nieces and a nephew; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A 1969 graduate of Lewistown High School, Sam went on to attend Shippensburg University. Throughout his career, he worked in the industrial gas industry for more than 20 years. He later pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by owning a specialty food market in Berks County and Totally Twisted Pretzel Shop in State College.

During his high school years, Sam played football and developed a lifelong love of sports. He enjoyed golfing whenever he had the opportunity and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Penn State athletics.

Above all else, Sam loved his family and cherished the time he spent with those he loved. He was also fortunate to share a lifelong friendship with his best friend, Tom Soccio.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
