Melvin E. “Oz” Fike, 88, of Lewistown, passed away at his home on Monday, July 13, 2026.
Born Sept. 16, 1937, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late John R. and Ethel (Stuck) Fike. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Joyce Varner; his brothers, John, George, and Raymond Fike; and his twin sisters, Marlene Fidler and Arlene Winn.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Butterworth and her husband, Earl, of Lewistown.
Oz dedicated more than 40 years of service to Standard Steel before retiring.
In keeping with his wishes, all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
