John Fiske Parker, a longtime resident of Lewistown and Reedsville, passed away on Feb. 11 after a two week hospital stay in Port Charlotte, Florida.
John graduated from Lewistown High School and from West Virginia University cum laude. John coached soccer and taught physical education. John is remembered for his winning smile, his love of sports and playing duplicate bridge.
He is survived by his sister, Judith Parker, of Venice, Fla. and his cousin, Virginia Parker Stimmel, of Harrisburg, His brother Andrew J. Parker Jr. (Jamie), of Huntingdon died in May.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church of Reedsville.
Interment for John and Andrew (Jamie) will take place at Church Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
