Alvin F. Heckard

Alvin F. Heckard, 85, of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Celebration Villa of Reedsville.

Born June 19, 1941, in Burnham, he was the son of the late Forrest D. and Cora E. (Moyer) Heckard.

He was an active volunteer with the Burnham Fire Company and proudly spent 55 years as a member of the Antique Automobile Club. A graduate of Chief Logan High School, he went on to serve his country in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966. He later continued his education through the National Radio Institute, strengthening the technical skills that supported his early career as a TV repairman.
