Shirley was raised in Snyder County graduating from West Snyder High School in 1966. Above all, she devoted her life to her three children and her faith in the Lord.

Earlier in life, she loved playing Bingo and was known to many as “Chicky.” She loved gardening, flowers, the beach and seashells, and the mountains.

She devoted many years to Little League Baseball running the concession stand and the Granville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary helping with chicken pie suppers and fundraising for the fire company.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

A special thank you to her sister in law Rebecca Kauffman who would visit her often and bring her a coffee from Dunkin Donuts.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Granville Fire Company, P.O. Box 5, Granville, PA 17029 or the Bob Perks Fund P.O. Box 313 State College, PA 16804 in honor of her daughter Peggy A. (Ciccolini) Bargo who has battled Leukemia and underwent a stem cell transplant throughout the past two years.
