Gary Lee Scyoc

Gary Lee Scyoc, 75, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born Aug. 12, 1950, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Richard ‘Dick’ and Violet (Nale) Scyoc.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Walters) Scyoc; siblings, Richard Scyoc and Shirley Mackneer.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy M. Scyoc, and wife, Tara, of Lewistown; and his beloved grandchildren, Gabe, Cole, Sierra, and Lexi. Gary is also survived by his siblings: his twin brother, Barry Scyoc and wife, Deb, of Lewistown; Dottie Yingling, of Lewistown; and Carol Jenkins, of Dry Valley.

Gary was a member of the Church of God Church on Logan St. in Lewistown.

After graduating high school, he was drafted into the United States Army, where he bravely served during the Vietnam War.

Throughout his working years, Gary was employed at the Arrow Shirt Factory and later at Jardon Plastics, where he eventually retired. Earlier in life, he loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In his later years, he enjoyed simply being outside and driving his Gator. The County Agent of Pheasant Valley will be missed.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
