Gary L. Rosenberry
Gary L. Rosenberry, 62, of Mifflintown, passed away May 10, 2026 in Corpus Christi, T.X. Born on Sept. 25 1963, Gary dedicated much of his life to public service Gary served honorably in the Marines.
After his military service he continued to serve the community as a Pennsylvania State Trooper until his retirement and later as a sergeant at Perry County Prison, from which he retired a second time.
Known for his vibrant personality, Gary never met a stranger, and a unique sense of humor that endeared him to many. Traveling the USA in his RV was one of his greatest joys, allowing him to explore and create lasting memories.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Rae (Quigley) Rosenberry; sons Gary Rosenberry Jr. (companion Amanda) and Tyler Rosenberry whom he was very proud of; stepsons Nathaniel and Mitchell Bossinger; brother, Robert (Bev) Rosenberry; sister, Shannon (Bill) Bowers; step mother, Cheryl Rosenberry and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert R Rosenberry; his mother, Brenda (Aumiller) Wileman and sister, Tina (Rosenberry) Smith.
A celebration of Life will be held on July 31, 2026 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the CJEMS building on CJEMS Lane Mifflintown, PA. Casual attire, just the way Gary would want.
