Daniel W. Foxx Sr.

Daniel W. Foxx Sr., 62, of Siglerville, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Born May 11, 1964, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late John T. Foxx and Barbara (Goss) Foxx, who survives.

In addition to his mother, Danny is survived by his devoted wife, DeAnn (Baker) Foxx; his son, Daniel W. Foxx Jr., of Lewistown; his stepdaughters, Paige Shaposky and her husband, John, of Milroy, and Macy Kuhns, of Lewistown; his beloved grandchildren, Maddison, Julian, Rowin, and Conner; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Danny was employed for many years as a Maintenance Mechanic at Trinity Plastics in Lewistown. A proud member of the Kishacoquillas High School Class of 1982, he distinguished himself as an exceptional wrestler, becoming the first wrestler in school history to capture a district championship. Following graduation, he furthered his education at Penn Tech in Williamsport, where he earned an associate degree in electrical technology.

He found great joy in lifeás simple pleasures, exploring the mountains in his side-by-side, taking scenic rides with his beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, and, above all, spending time with those he loved. Known for his kind heart, mechanical expertise, and willingness to help anyone in need, Danny never hesitated to lend a hand or share his knowledge. He will be remembered as a loyal friend, a devoted family man, and someone whose generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Most importantly, Dannyás family finds comfort and peace in knowing that he recently made a commitment to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through that faith, they rejoice in the promise that they will see him again one day.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Lewistown Assembly of God Church, 160 Summit Drive, Lewistown.

A memorial service celebrating Dannyás life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the church, with Pastor Kirk Nagel officiating.
