Carol L. Allison

She was born on January 16, 1945, in Philadelphia, to the late Ward and June (Hays) Whitebread. In June 1969, she married Joseph Allison, who preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2024.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Kile and brother-in-law, Dick Churchill.

She is survived by two sisters, Holly Thunell, of Florida, Linda Churchill, of Massachusetts, a brother-in-law, John W. Allison and wife, Sara, of Reedsville, sister-in-law, Paula Allison, of New Orleans, brother-in-law, Dennis Stuter, and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Carol was a teacher for 29 years in the Central Bucks School District in Doylestown, Pa. After retirement, she enjoyed going to her winter home in Florida.

She enjoyed volunteering at the Historical Society in Lewisburg, selling her homemade soaps at the local farmer’s market, growing orchids and gardening. She was an exceptional artist and painter and had a passion for travel, especially to Greece and Italy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
