Betty L. Zarkovich

Born on March 23, 1938 in Fayette Twp., Juniata County, she is a daughter of the late Charles Naylor and Pearl (Gearhart) Naylor.

On Sept. 29,1984 she married her surviving husband, John Zarkovich, with whom she was blessed to share over 41 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Gayle L. Arbogast and husband, Larry, Cindy Worrall, Judy A. Spece-Wright and husband, Ken, Melissa E. Leister and husband, Larry, Todd Buchanan and wife, Heidi, Dion Zarkovich, Jay Zarkovich and wife, Shannon. She is also survived by sisters, Helen Bryner, of McAlisterville and Mary Ann Henry, of Dry Run, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Betty was preceded in death by a son, James E. “Jim” Worrall, Jr. and siblings, Pauline “Polly” Eaton, George Naylor Sr., Kay Naylor, Ruth Neff and Arlene Kint.

Betty worked at the Orweko Frocks and managed the American Legion in Mifflintown. She also was a crane operator at Standard Steel in Burnham. She was a Methodist by faith. She was a terrific bowler and enjoyed reading and walking. She loved attending Silver Sneakers with her sister, Helen at the Lions Den. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
