Mark C. Glick

He was born in Reedsville, to the late Jonathan H. and Mamie (Roth) Glick. On June 3, 1961, he married Bonnie N. (Nearhood) Glick, who survives at their home.

Along with his wife, he is survived by siblings: Marian Stoltzfus of Lancaster, Jane Cypher and husband Virgil of Melbourne, Fla., and Helen Delaney and husband Samuel of Belleville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: John P. Glick, Ada C. Yoder, Sherman L. Glick, Eugene I. Glick, and Rebecca M. Yoder.

Mark attended Reedsville School and then attended Reppert’s Auctioneering School in Decatur, Ind. He returned home and conducted his first sale at the age of 19. He was employed by the Belleville Livestock Auction and Danville Livestock Auction for many years.

Mark was a member of the Vira United Methodist Church; he served on the Kish Bank Board of Directors from 1968 to 2005; Lewistown Lodge F&AM No. 203; and former member of Jack’s Mountain Hunting Club.

He enjoyed doing yardwork and was very fussy about the way his yard and shrubbery looked. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. They visited Europe 10 times and traveled to all 50 states.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 6880 SR 655, Reedsville, PA 17084 with Pastor Joshua Randolph officiating. His family will receive friends and a viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
