Louella J. Sigler Cisney
Louella J. Sigler Cisney, 85, of Port Royal, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born April 21, 1941, in Walker Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Stewart E. and Emma (Arnold) Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin L. “Whoop” Sigler on Oct. 6, 1962, her second husband, David C. Cisney on Sept. 21, 2015, a daughter, Lisa Kay Sigler on Feb. 14, 1980, and seven siblings, Eleanor Wagner, Earl Wagner, Theodore “Pete” Wagner, Madelene “Queen” Graybill, Mary “Mac” Stong Ferster, Kenneth Wagner, and Kermit “Babe” Wagner.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra Sigler Hurrell and husband, Wade, one son, Steven C. Cisney, and one brother Roy “Gene” Wagner and wife, Carol.
Louella graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1958. She worked as a cook, first at Mick’s Café in Port Royal and then at Stop 35 from where she retired.
She was a member of Centre Lutheran Church.
At one time she was very athletic and played softball and was on a bowling team. She also enjoyed camping at Cowan’s Gap.
There will be a closed casket visitation on Thursday, May 28, beginning at 10 a.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059 followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Sigler officiating. Interment will be in Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown.
