Kay F. Boyer
Kay F. Boyer, 81, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born April 16, 1945, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Gloye (Langham) Clare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luther M. Boyer Jr., who passed away on Nov. 10, 2025, and by her sister, Norma Walker.
Kay is survived by her loving children: Lisa Wray and her husband, Scot, of Lewistown; Stephen Boyer and his wife, Denise, of Greencastle; and Michael Boyer and his companion, Toni Sedoti, of Lewistown. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Hunter Wray, Kenzie Steel and her husband, Caden, Isaac Boyer, and Brielle Boyer; her adored great-grandchildren, Kambre and Collins Steel; and her twin brother, Charles Clare and his wife, Judy, of Lewistown.
Kay dedicated more than 20 years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ohesson Manor Nursing Home, where she later retired. She enjoyed attending races at Port Royal Speedway and watching NASCAR, as well as spending time traveling to camp. Above all else, Kay treasured her family and the moments she shared with them.
In keeping with Kay’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
