Ronald W. Ettinger
Ronald W. Ettinger, 76, of Lewistown, passed away on April 21, 2026, at his home in McClure.
Born on Feb. 15, 1950, in Enola, he was the son of the late Edward J. Ettinger, Sr. and Jennie H. (Stuck) Ettinger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Stuck, Edward J. Ettinger Jr., and Malvern S. Ettinger.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Marsha (Casner) Ettinger, whom he married on Aug. 23, 2003, and with whom he shared 23 wonderful years. He is also survived by his children, Ronda (Mark) Morrison, Andrew (Hillary) Ettinger, and Eric (Kathy) Ettinger; his grandchildren, Reagan Ettinger, Preston (Mackenzie) Ettinger, and Olivia Morrison; and his step-grandchildren, Katie and Phillip Norris and Andrea Benny. In addition, he leaves behind his stepchildren, Rhyne McCormick, Cory McCormick, and Thomasa Meinnert, along with their families, as well as many brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Ron was a graduate of Chief Logan High School and a faithful member of Calvary Bible Church. He was employed by Standard Steel, from which he later retired.
He found great joy in fishing and camping, and treasured the many years spent traveling with Marsha and their family. He was especially fond of his beloved dog, Auggie.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 US-522, Lewistown, with Pastor Ethan Druckenmiller officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
